Vacherie, Louisiana
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Teoddis Anthony Edwards, lovingly known as "Wolf," who left us too soon on April 23, 2026, but not before leaving a lasting imprint on all who knew him. Born in Vacherie, Louisiana on December 26, 1972, Teoddis was a beacon of laughter, compassion, and unwavering love. He was a man who found joy in the simple things in life and shared that joy with everyone around him.
Teoddis was a thoughtful man with the ability to make anyone laugh even on their worst days. His funny character was only outshone by his compassionate nature. His long-standing career as a Solar Panelist in the construction industry was a testament to his dedication and hard work. Despite his busy schedule, Teoddis always made time for his favorite hobbies which included training his beloved dogs, playing basketball, and most importantly, making people laugh. As Mark Twain wisely stated, "The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter," and Teoddis wielded it expertly. He deeply loved his family, who were paramount to him and were always at the center of his world.
Teoddis leaves behind his loving family; sisters Catherine Randle, Tassin Preston, Sharlene Mcdonald; brother Michael Gros; his daughters Scymone McAllister, Taylor Williams, and Teoshia Gibson; son Leviticus Edwards; and a host of nieces including Breyon Mitchell, Shanequa Jasmin, Shalonda Bolden, Shadonalyn Lewis, Micah Randle, Ebony Gros, and Andrea Gros. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Edwards and Irma Johnson, step-father Earnest Johnson, brother Ronald Jr., and niece Akerion Preston.
In honor of the incredible man that Teoddis was, we invite you to leave your memories and upload photos to his memorial page. His life was a testament to the power of laughter and love, and your shared memories will allow us to celebrate his life as he so richly deserves. As we remember Teoddis, let us do so with joy, laughter, and love, just as he would have wanted.
