Vernon Morton

Vernon "Mr.V" Morton was born on April 17, 1954, to the late Nobel Sr. and Olivia Morton. He was the spouse of the late Lisa Boudreaux Morton and beloved brother of the late Rosana Morton, Mary Winfield, the late Noble Jr, Howard Sr, and Roger Morton. Father-in-law Leslie Boudreaux Sr.

Vernon departed this life on Monday, May 1, 2023, in Vacherie La. Vernon retired from ADM and loved fishing and spending time with family. Vernon leaves to cherish his memory his one and only daughter Toya F. Morton, stepson Avion Williams; two grandsons: Mandel Jr and Cannon. His loving and devoted sister Joyce Morton. Brothers: Alvin ( late Catherine), Robert ( Sherline); Mother-in-law: Delores Boudreaux, Brother-in-law; Lyndell Boudreaux, Leslie Jr. Truly devoted nephew Bruce Batiste, and other devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life graveside memorial honoring Vernon "Mr.V" Morton held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at St.Luke Cemetery, 5131 E Arbeed Street, Saint James, La 70086. The memorial will begin at 11 am. Final care and professional services are entrusted to Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E Airline Highway, Gramercy, La 70052.

Due to the weather the graveside memorial service and the repast will be held at Magnolia Playground, 2205 Church Street, Vacherie, La 70090.
