Wilbert Leo Ledet, age 86, passed away on Sunday Nov 15, 2015 at his home in Metairie, LA surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Kenner, LA; Knights of Columbus Stoulig Council #3528, the Lion's Club, and Usher and member of the Holy Name Society. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his son, Wilbert Gerard Ledet. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 60yrs, Dolores DeSalle Ledet, 5 daughters: Linda Douglas, Theresa Lawrence (Curtis), Annette Dillon(Bruce), Darlene and Taonica Ledet; One sister Veronica Miles(David); brother and sister-in-law Ernest and Margaret DeSalle of Harvey, Illinois; sister-in-law Doris DeSalle of Franklin, TN; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, together with a host of nieces, nephews relatives a friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12Noon on Saturday, Nov 21, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1908 Short Street, Kenner, LA. Rev. Richard Miles officiating. Visitation from 10am until mass time. Interment at Providence Memorial Park, Metairie, LA. Final arrangements entrusted to Treasures of Life Center for Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy.
